Academy for LoRaWAN®

Founded in 2015, the LoRa Alliance® (https://lora-alliance.org/) is the open, non-profit organization of members from the IoT ecosystem across the entire LPWAN value chain. It develops and maintains the LoRaWAN standard, a global, open networking specification that has become the de facto standard for secure, carrier-grade IoT LPWAN connectivity. The LoRaWAN standard is formally recognized as an ITU International Standard for Low Power Wide Area Networking.

To ensure that devices adhere to the LoRaWAN standard, and to provide for seamless interoperability of hardware used on all LoRaWAN networks, the LoRa Alliance offers the LoRaWAN Certification program. Look for the LoRaWAN Certified^CM mark when evaluating LPWAN products.
